Robert Morin explains the LCR Gold. We got a lot of interest from people wanting to "take the LCR MKIII to the next level." The LCR Gold pretty much is the LCR MKIII on steroids. Key components are upgraded, silver wire allows for the beefy voltage regulators to breathe with the audio. A headphone jack (rated for 32 - 300 ohm impedance) and volume pot was added for an up close and personal vinyl experience. This unit is even more labor intensive than the LCRMKIII and worth every penny in terms of resolution, depth, soundstaging and frequency extension.
