History of the Lounge LCR

It started sometime early in 2000 when getting exposure to the sound of an inductor based equalizer Robert Morin designed.

Robert got interested in preamps and run across a Tango transformer which had the L (inductor) C (capacitor) R (resistor) configuration. Knowing the sound the inductors could inject, he built two preamps: an active one and the other with the LCR configuration for comparison. The video explains his reaction to the sound while comparing both preamps with different LPs
